Leuria runs on your computer. There is no Leuria server and no Leuria account, and the app sends no usage data or analytics. This page lists everything the app itself connects to, and why.
What Leuria keeps, on your computer only
- The websites you connected, and the AI and model you chose for each.
- Your sign-in to the AI apps you set up, and the keys of AI services you add.
- The AI apps it downloaded for you.
It keeps nothing of your conversations. All of this is in one folder, .leuria in your home folder.
What Leuria connects to
- Updates. About every six hours, Leuria asksGitHub whether a newer version exists, and downloads it if so. The request carries nothing about you beyond what any download does, such as your IP address.
- The list of AI apps. To show which AI apps you can use, Leuria reads apublic list of AI apps, kept by their publishers. When you pick one, Leuria downloads it from where its publisher offers it (for example npm or GitHub).
- The AI you choose. Your questions go to that AI, under your own account, as when you use it directly. Its own privacy policy applies: for example OpenAI,Anthropic or Google. With a model on your computer, your questions never leave it.
- The websites you connect. A website gets answers from your AI only after you approve it in Leuria's window, and only while it stays connected. If it offers instructions for your AI (skills), Leuria downloads them from the address the site gives.
Leuria sends nothing else to any other system, unless you ask it to. Its code is open source, so you can check this in therepository.
This website
This section covers leuria.eu, the developer site leuria.dev and the demos on demo.leuria.dev. Each asks before counting your visit. If you say yes, it loads Google Analytics, which sets cookies and sends Google the pages you view, roughly where you are and what device you use, so we can see which pages help. Nothing is used for advertising. If you say no, Google is never contacted and no cookie is set. Your answer is kept in your browser, for each site, and you can change it any time with at the bottom of the page. SeeGoogle's privacy policy.
The sites are hosted on GitHub Pages, which may log visits underGitHub's privacy statement.
